Description

The Spanish Village is an architectural and ethnographic park-museum located in Barcelona on Montjuic. Four intellectuals of the 20th century, architects Folger and Reventos, artists Utriyo and Noghès, inspired by Puig-i-Kadafalk, created this complex of architectural replicas in full size. The Spanish village was opened to the International Exhibition in Barcelona in 1929 and has been preserved in its original form. The Spanish Village is also known as the City of Craftsmen. Currently, there are more than 20 craft workshops, where visitors can watch the work of glassblowers, shoemakers and other craftsmen.
