Teschin bridge

A legend says that in the 1970s, a head of the region, the first secretary of the regional committee of the party, Mikhail Safronovich Sinitsa, allegedly went to visit his mother-in-law in the 1970s. It is considered that this expensive construction, which has no practical value, was necessary to the city because of the love of the then communist city chief for mother-in-law pancakes. And since the son-in-law lived on Primorsky Boulevard, and his mother-in-law, on Gogol Street, 1 through a beam, the promenade of five hundred meters by a circuit along the Sabaneyev bridge seemed to the head of Odessa intolerable. And so the idea of ​​creating a direct pedestrian bridge. But over time, it turned out that the bridge, connecting Primorsky and Komsomolsky Boulevards, created a continuous walking route about 2 km long and acquired important practical significance for the city.
