The museum-workshop of Ivan Kavaleridze was founded in 1993 on Andriyivsky Descent, at number 21, where in 1911 the artist worked on the monument to Princess Olga.nIvan Petrovich Kavaleridze (1887-1978) – Ukrainian sculptor, film director, playwright, People’s Artist of Ukraine. А creative workshop operates in the museum, which has shot several films about the artist, brings to life ideas that he could not implement.nThe video hall and the gallery “In the House of Ivan Kavaleridze” popularize the best figures of national art and gifted youth.nThe museum constantly hosts art exhibitions. Every year, since 1999, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, opens the exhibition “Creators of Independence”.
