The National Museum of the History of Ukraine

Ethnographic, archaeological, paintings and sculptures, numismatic collections, old printed books and other historical exhibits are kept in the museum of the history of Ukraine. The museum building, which received the status of a monument of architecture, was built in 1937 designed by architect Karakis and originally intended for the first art school in the entire Ukrainian Republic. In 1944, the State Republican Historical Museum was founded in the building instead of the art school. During these times, the museum building was used as a pioneer, and also guided tours from around the world.
