Triumphal Arch

Arc de Triomphe – a monument in Barcelona. Served as the main entrance of the 1888 World’s Fair. The arch was erected by architect Red Brick, Joseph Vilasekoy, in the Neo-Moorish style widespread at that time.nSculptural compositions in the upper part of the arch: on the frieze of the main facade, overlooking the Pacech de Sant Joan, the sculpture of Josep Reynes “Barcelona welcomes the nations” industry ”and the work of Torcata Tasso“ Trade and Art ”. The arch is decorated with the coats of arms of Spain above and the coats of arms of the various provinces of Spain along the whole arc on each of the facades.
