Placed in one tower of the Isartor (Isar gate) which is a former part of the city walls of Munich, this museum is dedicated to the German comedians Karl Valentin and Liesl Karlstadt. The Museum is home to interesting and funny exhibits. Examples are a clock that runs backwards, a toothpick for winter (including fur trimming) and a device to read between the lines. Signs and informations are in German, but it is possible to book guided tours for groups also in English. A highlight of the visit is also the little coffee place in the uppermost floor of the snuggery tower.
