American Folk Art Museum

American Museum of Folk Art (AFAM) – one of the museums in the United States; is a leading cultural institution dedicated to the aesthetic perception of folk art and the creative self-expression of contemporary self-taught artists from the United States and abroad. Located in New York in Manhattan. The museum collection includes more than 7,000 objects from the XVIII century to the present. In its exhibitions, educational programs and outreach activities, the museum demonstrates the creative self-expression of people whose talents have developed without formal artistic training.
