With the help of a two-story elevator, visitors have the opportunity to look into the inside of the aquarium, where about 1500 fish of 97 species live. AquaDom was opened in December 2003 after years of construction. AquaDom stands in the center of the courtyard of the 5-star Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin. Guests of hotel rooms, whose windows overlook the courtyard, have the opportunity to observe the aquarium.
