Deda is ena – mother tongue park. Grandfather Ena is a Georgian children’s book for reading, similar to a primer. According to it, Georgian children studied literacy for more than 150 years. In 1977, more than 100 thousand people came to this square, who protested against the Russian language being granted the status of the state language in Georgia.
