Description

The Jacob Kaiser House is a complex of buildings in the Mitte district of Berlin, named after the politician Jacob Kaiser. The largest parliament building in Germany. The House of Jacob Kaiser consists of eight seven-story buildings, the project was developed in 1997 by four architectural offices. Two underground galleries connecting the buildings and the Reichstag building were also built under Dorotheenstraße. From the House of Jacob Kaiser through the underground tunnel, laid under the Spree, you can also get to the House of Mary Elizabeth Lüders and the House of Paul Löbe.nNumerous pieces of art adorn the courtyards of the Jacob Kaiser House. The open courtyard to the Spree embankment is bounded by glass panels, on which the first 19 articles of the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1949 edition are applied.
