Palau Sant Jordi is a multi-purpose indoor sports arena that is located in Barcelona. It was built in 1990 for the Summer Olympic Games (1992). Developed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, the arena was opened on September 21, 1990, two years before the Olympic Games in Barcelona. It is a masterpiece of architecture and modern technology. Its structure and materials used give it great flexibility, which allows you to adapt the room for a variety of activities. In 2014, Palau Sant Jordi became one of six arenas for hosting the 2014 World Basketball Championship.
