The memorial to the fallen Soviet soldiers in Tiergarten was erected in 1945 in memory of 75 thousand Soviet soldiers who died during the storming of Berlin, after the end of World War II in Berlin. It was built three monuments. These memorials are not only monuments of the Great Victory in Germany, but also military burial places.nThe central memorial is the monument to the Liberator Soldier in Berlin’s Treptow Park.nEvery year on May 8, a solemn wreath laying at the graves of fallen soldiers is held.
