Description

The Temple of Debod is the lowest Egyptian temple closest to the high Aswan dam, moved to the West Park (Spanish) (Parque del Oeste) of Madrid after it was donated to Spain by the Egyptian authorities in 1968 in gratitude for the help provided to saving the temples of Abu Simbel from flooding during the construction of the Aswan Dam.
