Tempodrom

Tempodrom – a huge room for public events in Berlin. In addition to the concert hall there are a swimming pool (indoor) and an arena.nThe West Berlin nurse Irene Mesinger unexpectedly received an inheritance from an almost unknown dad who died in Italy. In 1984, Tempodrom arrived in Tiergarten and stood successfully there until such time as Germany did not unite and until they decided to build the residence of the Federal Chancellor. In 1999, the Stiftung Neues Tempodrom fund was established. Thanks to the work of the fund, funds were raised for the construction of a new, already standing Tempodrom and already in Berlin. It was decided to build a new Tempodrom on the site of the former Anhalter Bahnhof railway station. In 2001 it was built.
