Anna A. Akhmatova – Russian poet of the Silver Age, translator and literary critic, one of the most significant figures of Russian literature of the twentieth century. Was nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature (1965 and 1966).n The monument to Anna Akhmatova was opened in Kiev on June 23, 2017 in honor of the 128th anniversary of the poetess’s birthday.
