The ibero-american ministers of Tourism present at the Show concurred on Tuesday, during the XXII Ibero-american Conference of Ministers and Entrepreneurs of Tourism (Cimet), in that the tourism sector is “already seeing the light at the end of the tunnel” of the crisis caused by the covid-19 and pointed out that “if we continue the way we are, we can begin to revive the tourist flows”.

After a year of pandemic, all Ibero-American officials insisted on the importance of guaranteeing biosanitary security to visitors as a fundamental asset to relaunch the sector, in addition to other concepts already more established such as sustainability.
To do this, national officials offer a large percentage of vaccination in their countries, but they also call for standardized criteria around the world to determine whether a destination is safe.
