Australia is a green country, where tropical forests can move seamlessly into a modern city. The continent is famous for its unique flora and fauna that cannot be found in any place on Earth.

Kings canyon

 
Kings canyon is located in the heart of Australia. It is considered a sacred place for the locals. Due to its splendor of the canyon has gained enormous popularity among tourists. The height of the canyon reaches 200 meters. It was formed millions of years ago due to ongoing erosion. On the bottom of the canyon you can find thickets of ferns, cycads, and palm forests. In their jungle is home to unique animal species. The guides offer travelers several ways of crossing the canyon. Most popular safe route, stretching for 6 kilometers and takes about 3-4 hours. Not only beautiful nature attracts crowds of tourists to this green continent. One of the most recognizable places in Australia, and particularly Sydney, was the unusual view of the Opera house. The Creator of this unique project was designed by Jorn Utzon. According to his confession on the roof creation of this unique theatre was inspired by the rind from the orange. The construction of the Opera house began in 1959 and lasted until 1973.

In some places the dunes reach a height of 250 meters. This island is unique in that there is more than a hundred freshwater lakes formed by underground waters. The largest of them reaches 200 hectares and is called lake Boesingen. However, the most beautiful lake of them is Mackenzie. It is located at 100 meters from the sea level.

The big pineapple in Queensland

 
In Australia there is something to see and lovers of unusual architecture. In Woombye, located in the Australian state of Queensland, for several decades, you can visit the statue of a huge pineapple. Its height is 16 meters. The pineapple was built in 1971, when a married couple the Taylors decided to draw attention to his own farm. It has also survived until today. Here can be seen as the usual domestic animals such as pigs and donkeys and exotic such as Alpaca.
