The House of decoration opens its third hotel in the port of La Rochelle, an excuse to make a foray into this idyllic corner of the French Atlantic Coast.
Vienne, one of the design rooms.
The hotel chain Vicartem and the decoration brand Maisons du Monde have joined forces and a lot of art in this new design accommodation that will open its doors in the next days in the port of The Rochelle, the lively capital of the Department of Charente Martimo, between Brittany and PAS Vasco francs.
The New Maisons du Monde Hotel & amp; Suites, with 63 rooms, is fully designed with the furniture and decoration of the brand that, with this, adds three accommodations in French territory: one in Nantes and another in the Old Port of Marseille, which was inaugurated this same year.
The philosophy of Maisons du Monde is that the husped, whether traveling for work or pleasure, feels “like home… or even better”. Of ah that the rooms respond to different styles and have, as a differentiating element, spectacular ceilings.
So, for example, the so-called Florence suite invites soar with its classical style and baroque ceiling, while the guests of the Madras room will sleep in the middle of a more ethnic atmosphere that includes tapestries full of color.
Another option is Memphis with a powerful graphic component. Saint Martin, for its part, is designed for lovers of the sea. Finally, in the suite Vienne you will find a tribute to the imperial City, where there is no lack of feathers or wild evocation on its walls. The accommodation has a space for coworking and a restaurant try local delicacies from Potes & amp; Boc, ice cream from master ice cream maker Ernest le Glacier and, how not, oysters from Hutres Chez Nono.
Let’s not forget that we are in the region of France that boasts the best oysters in the world and that La Rochelle en s is a celebrated gastronomic destination. It also has a thousand and one corners to discover, from its bustling street markets to its stone houses with half-timbered walls and, of course, all the maritime beauty of the Atlantic.
