Hemp Museum

A museum in Berlin dedicated to the cannabis plant and everything related to it. The only museum in Germany and one of the few in the world of this kind. The initiative to create a cannabis museum in Berlin belongs to the German Society for the Promotion of Cannabis as a useful plant, and its prototype was the Museum of Hashish, Marijuana and Hemp in Amsterdam. After a trial exhibition devoted to hemp, received a positive response in Berlin, it was decided to arrange a permanent exhibition, which opened in the historical center of the city – Nikolai Fighter – December 6, 1994.nIn addition to the permanent exhibition, special exhibitions are organized in the museum, including within the framework of the Night of Museums or online. The museum has a shop and a cafe where you can buy various goods, one way or another connected with cannabis.
