The Palace of the Crown Prince (him. Kronprinzenpalais) – a palace in Berlin, built on the street Unter den Linden in the style of late classicism. For a long time was the city palace of the ruling dynasty of Prussia. During the November Revolution of 1918, leaders of the revolutionary movement spoke from the driveway of the Crown Prince’s Palace. In the years 1919-1939, the New Department of the Berlin National Gallery, the world’s first museum of modern art, was located in the Crown Prince’s Palace. The Crown Prince’s Palace was completely destroyed during World War II, rebuilt in 1968 and used to house the visitors to the city of Berlin. On August 31, 1990, the signing of the Treaty on the Unification of Germany was held at the Palace of the Crown Prince. Currently, the Crown Prince Palace hosts exhibitions and cultural events.
