Description

Berlin Central Station – the largest and most modern railway station in Europe, the main station of Berlin. Located on the site of the old Lert station, destroyed during World War II and exploded later. In the summer of 1992, the government of Germany decided to build the main station in Berlin. Berlin Central Station was solemnly opened for the World Cup on May 26, 2006. Before the main station, in Berlin there were only a few stations, each of which was responsible for a specific direction. Now, at the central station, trains stop in all directions.
